HIGH RIDGE CLUB MEMBERSHIP 2023
The High Ridge Club is a Windham area club that is so much more than a Pool & Tennis/Pickleball Club! Whether you want to relax poolside or get your game on, HRC is the place to meet your family and friends or make new friendships! Whether you are a full or part time resident or retiree, you will love all we have to offer!
The High Ridge Club commenced operation in August of 1993. The property presently consists of 5 plus acres. Club amenities include: tennis courts (with pickleball lines), tennis program, member run pickleball clinics and games, swim lessons, heated pool, lifeguards, outdoor shower, pond, clubhouse, bathrooms, full kitchen, outdoor grills, lounge chairs, wi-fi, bocce court, horseshoe court, ping-pong table, basketball hoops, and children’s playground.
The Board of Directors has set the membership to include 81 common shareholders. The current cost for a membership share is $4,500.00, financing is available. We also offer a one-time introductory membership to try the club out for a week, month, or season, see the General Rules for pricing if you are not ready to commit to a share. Applications are accepted and reviewed for approval by the membership committee. The Board of Directors sets the dues structure, guest policies and operating procedures.
Tennis and pickleball season starts as soon as weather permits, April/May, and usually runs through October. Weather permitting, the pool opens weekends beginning Memorial Day and is open daily July through Labor Day. Members run social events that are held during the season. Some of our past events include BBQ’s, ice cream parties for kids of all ages, wine tasting and pasta dinner, Octoberfest, luau, chili cook-off, campout, movie night, fire pit s’mores, potluck lunch/dinner, spa days, climbing wall, and so much more!
2023 ANNUAL DUES
$850+$68 tax = $918 for each share (up to 4 members)
$25+$2 tax = $27 per additional child
$75+$6 tax = $81 per caretaker
Each share comes with 4 family member passes. If any of the 4 passes are not assigned to a family member, that pass can be used as a floating pass for bringing guests.
Floating Passes cannot be used for family or friends who live locally and accompany you frequently, as they should consider joining the club if they want to use the facilities. We trust that you will be mindful of this policy and ask that you do not abuse it.
ADDITIONAL FEES INFORMATION
Extended Stay House Guest: Good for 30 continuous days for the individual named on the pass. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org with this request and name of guest.
$100 + 8 tax = $108 ($110.50 if paying by Venmo)
Sublet Fee: If you will be subletting your membership for the season, please have your subletter fill out a membership application (available on the website) and send to email@example.com for approval. If you have the same subletter as last year, there is no need to send in another application.
$150 sublet fee ($153.55 if paying by Venmo)
DAILY CLUB SIGN IN PROCESS
Starting this year we will no longer use paper sign-in sheets. Instead, we will be implementing an electronic QR CODE system.
Once you pay your annual dues we will create a unique, non-transferable QR CODE for each of the 4 members of your family (or floating pass if applicable) which will be emailed to you. You can save this QR CODE on your phone, tablet, print it out, or, if you forget to bring it, it will be in a binder by the lifeguard desk.
There will be a tablet at the club for you to scan the QR CODE for each member signing in.
All members and their guests must scan in when you come to the club. Thank you!
Guest Fees will be $10/adult and $5/child (17 or under) both weekdays and weekends.
To sign in a guest you can use THIS LINK or you can fill out a paper form at the sign-in desk when the club is open.
As a reminder, guest passes must be purchased for guests any time the club is open, or when using the courts during off hours.
Please note, we are phasing out blue books, but for anyone who still has some, we will continue to accept them this season. Each blue ticket is worth 1 adult pass or 2 child passes.
SELLING SHARE POLICY
If you are interested in selling your share, please note that while we cannot assist in finding a buyer for you, we are happy to do whatever we can to make the process as smooth as possible. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get more information about the process.
Also please note, as of this year there will be a transfer & administration fee of $675 (equal to 15% of the listed price of $4500 for a HRC share) to cover the work involved in processing a new application, transferring the stock certificate, and to maintain the club’s reserves.

As you know, we are only able to keep the cost of our annual dues down by having volunteer members run the majority of our clubs’ paperwork, bookkeeping, etc. These new procedures will save time and ultimately money that will be used for the benefit of OUR club!
