HIGH RIDGE CLUB GENERAL CLUB RULES 2024

Sign-in:
Upon arrival at the Club, whether it is for use of the pool, tennis courts, playground, or any other Club facilities, members and guests are required to sign in as they enter the Club. QR codes are used for member’s sign-in. Guests must be signed in and there is a cash box if payment is required.

Classes of Membership:
1.Full Member
2. Junior Member
3. Introductory Member (One season only)

Full Membership:
A “full membership” is defined as a membership where both an ownership share is initially purchased and annual dues are paid. A “full member” is entitled to voting rights and unrestricted use of the Club in accordance with Club rules and regulations.

Full memberships include four passes to be used by the shareholder. Children under the age of 30 may be designated pass holders. If the family is smaller than four, the member may use “vacant membership passes” as a floating guest pass. If the family is larger than four, the member must purchase additional designated children passes. If the entire family membership is not in attendance for the day, a guest may not use the membership pass of the absent family member as a guest pass for the day. Children 2 years old and younger do not need a guest pass. Please do not leave young children unsupervised anywhere at the Club. Children may not be left at the Club unaccompanied by an adult 18 and older.

A member that has a partner or significant other, who they are not married to, may include that person and their children as part of their membership provided there is space in their membership (have not currently filled out the other 3 spaces on their membership). Additional designated children passes may also be purchased if needed. The board must be notified that they are part of the membership. The member and partner do not need to reside together.

At the time of payment of the yearly dues, members must list the names of individuals on their membership for the season. Unless there is an extraordinary circumstance, these names cannot be changed mid-season. Extraordinary circumstances would include major life events such as marriage, death, or adoption.

NOTE: “FLOATING” GUEST PASS: Guests invited to the club must be signed in under the member they are visiting, floating membership guest passes of a different member may not be used to sign in your guests. Floating membership guest passes are not meant to circumvent the guest policy or the purchase of a membership in the club. For example, if Family A brings a guest(s) for the day, floating membership passes from Family B may not be used to avoid paying
guest fees for guests of Family A. If Family A does not have floating passes, they may not sign their guests in for free under another members’ floating passes.

Junior Membership:
Adult children of full members are deemed to be part of a “family” membership with unrestricted use of the Club until age 30. Upon reaching the age of 30, adult children of full members may elect to become “junior” members. A “junior membership” enables adult children of full members to join the Club by paying the applicable annual dues up until the age of 35, but does not require the purchase of an ownership share. A “junior membership” entitles the junior member to unrestricted use of the Club, but does not confer voting rights. Upon reaching the age of 35, a “junior member” must apply for full membership to the Club if he/she wishes to continue as a member. If upon completion of the application process he/she is invited to join, he/she must purchase an ownership share and is then deemed to be a “full member.” If an adult child age 30 should choose not to join as a “junior” or “full” member, such child shall be designated as a “guest” and is fully subject to the Club’s guest policy as defined by the Rules Committee.

Full Membership Dues:
Family Membership (includes 4 passes)
$900.00 plus 8% tax annually = $972.00
Additional children
$ 27.00 plus 8% tax annually = $29.16
Designated Caregivers
(can be parent, grandparent, babysitter, nanny, or the like) $ 80.00 plus 8% tax annually = $86.40
Annual dues for Junior members will mirror that for Family membership

NOTE: There is no longer an early payment discount. There will be an added interest charge of 7%
per month if payment is not received or postmarked by May 31st

Guest Passes:
Individual Weekend/Holiday
$10.00 dollars cash adults (or 1 blue book pass)/ $5.00 child under 18
Individual Weekday
$5.00 dollars cash or 1 blue book pass for 2 guests
Extended stay house guests – 30 continuous day guest pass specific to the individual named on the pass
$100.00 plus 8% tax

Use of guest passes is not to be used to circumvent purchase of a membership in the Club. Guests visiting 20 days or more will be reviewed by the membership committee and discussed with the member as necessary.

Caregivers must follow the same rules as non-member guests. A Caregiver is defined as a family member or paid helper who regularly looks after a child or a sick, elderly, or disabled person. This person can be a parent, grandparent, babysitter, nanny, or the like. The addition of a caregiver to a membership is not meant to circumvent the guest policy or purchase of a membership in the club.

Guests 18 and older may sign themselves in without the member they are visiting. An adult 18 and older must accompany guests under 18. All guests must sign in under a member name and follow the guest pass policy upon entry to the Club.

*Guests of Introductory Membership Members: An adult member of the introductory membership must be present at the club with guests signed in under said membership. Guests cannot sign themselves in under an introductory membership.

Guests invited to the club must be signed in under the member they are visiting; vacant floating membership guest passes of a different member may not be used to sign in your guests. Floating membership guest passes are not meant to circumvent the guest policy or the purchase of a membership in the club.

It is the responsibility of the members to explain Club rules to their guests.

At any time the Membership Committee can limit the number of guests to insure the Club facilities are not overtaxed to the detriment of other members.
